This route goes down Island Park and into the Experimental Farm (good for staying away from all the goose crap that is on the Ottawa River path at certain times of the year!).

This route goes down the Ottawa River Parkway as far as Lincoln Fields (12k
turn around point). The 5k, 8k and 10k turn around points are indicated by
the arrows on the map.

DIRECTIONS TO BEAVERCHASE – Turn west onto Solandt Rd. from March Rd. in Kanata. First right is Hines Rd. When you get to the intersection of Innovation Dr. and Hines Rd. you will see the Legion on your right opposite Innovation Dr. Address is 70 Hines Rd. Lots of parking in the back.
DIRECTIONS TO GATINEAU -
FROM KANATA – Take the Champlain Bridge from Island Park Dr. Turn right on Aylmer Rd. (2nd light) Drive a few k until you see the Gatineau Parkway on your left. Take the Parkway all the way to Meech Lake Rd. Turn Left at the Stop sign. Drive a few more k until you see P11 (O’Brien) on your right. Park here.
FROM DOWNTOWN – Take the Portage or Macdonald Bridge and get on Hwy 5 to Wakefield. Exit at Old Chelsea (exit 12) and turn left on Old Chelsea Rd. Drive a couple of k and the road will become Meech Lake Rd. Drive until you see P11 (O’Brien) on your right. Park here.
DIRECTIONS TO OLD QUARRY TRAIL P5 – The Parking lot (P5) is on the east side of Eagleson Rd. just south of Hazeldean and Robertson Rd. It is directly across Eagleson from the Hazeldean Mall.
DIRECTIONS TO P1 HUNTCLUB – Parking lot (P1) is on the south side of Hunt Club between the 416 and Moodie Dr.
DIRECTIONS TO KLONDIKE - from Queensway overpass at Eagleson – follow March Rd ( it turns from Eagleson to March at the 417). Turn left on Klondike ( just past new Shoppers Drug Mart on March). Follow until you get to a T intersection ( intersection of Klondike and 2nd Line) . We will park right at the intersection, on the road by the construction trailers.
DIRECTIONS TO CONSTANCE BAY – March Road to Dunrobin Road ( just past Cullen’s Garden Centre). Turn right onto Dunrobin Rd at the traffic light and follow for about 15 km. Take the turn to the right at the Constance Bay sign ( onto Constance Bay road) . If you do not take the big sweeping turn to the right at the Constance Bay sign, you will go up a hill that takes you to Fitzroy. Harbour. It is the only hill for miles so it is obvious where you must turn.
Follow Constance Bay road towards the river ( approx 2-3 km.) Constance Bay road turns into Bayview Dr. Follow Bayview Dr for 3 km and watch for 550 Bayview Dr. It is on the right hand side of the road. It is 1 km past The Point restaurant. If you see the Lighthouse grocery story you have gone too far.
