Movement To Health was founded in 1999 born from Donna's passion for healthy living and a passion for inspiring others to embrace the many benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle. Movement To Health offers running and yoga classes and most recently the wildly successful Powerful Woman Yoga Boot Camp, a program combining the mind/body benefits of yoga with sound nutritional guidance and group motivation. Donna's certifications in fitness and yoga along with her experience training hundreds of clients have combined to create a program with outstanding results for all the participants.
Donna holds a 200-hour certification in Hatha Yoga and has also completed various training in Ashtanga and Power Yoga, with Beryl Bender-Birch, David Swenson and Brian Kest. She is a Nationally Certified Group Fitness Trainer, Advanced Resist-A-Ball C.O.R.E. Instructor, marathon runner and coach. Donna is also a Lululemon Ambassador, New Balance sponsored athlete, and a former nominee for the Y-Women Of Distinction Awards for Active Living.
Along with her daily yoga practice and running, Donna's loves, passions and healthy obsessions include her husband John, new puppy Annie, creating gourmet vegan and raw meals for friends and family, cook books, and relaxing on the dock at the cottage with a great glass of wine.
