“I stuck to the cleanse reasonably well (about 90%) and frankly I feel great. I have energy and I feel more connected. In the past my body was defined by my stomach. Now its not. I’m never really hungry but I never feel full. I don’t think about it. I eat at meal time and, in between, if I’m hungry. I’m now eating all of the recommended servings of fruits and veggies and getting my protein almost exclusively from non-meat sources. People keep asking me if it was hard but it wasn’t – ironically I’m finding it difficult to reintegrate foods back in – some have bothered me so I’m a bit nervous.
