Why Women Only?
Over the years with Movement To Health we have noticed that women join our yoga and running classes and most recently our Powerful Woman Boot Camp for a variety of reasons; for fitness and for motivation of course, but also to take time for themselves, to spend time in the community of other women, and to empower themselves to reach goals associated with fitness and to reach larger life goals as well.
By offering some classes for women only, we can structure them to really include all the elements that foster community, motivation, health, wellness and empowerment for women in a empowering and nurturing environment. We are creating a safe haven for women to come together to share, grow and become their own inspiration.

You sign a contract committing to your Boot Camp Yoga workouts, and committing to follow the Powerful Woman healthy eating plan.
The eating plan is simple, fruits, veggies, whole grains, legumes and small amounts of low-fat, animal products. These whole foods take the place of any refined sugar, flour and processed foods which are not on the plan! Alcohol and white sugar are also limited during your 4 or 5-week commitment.
This is a program for Powerful Women.

Yoga Classes:
Wednesday night - Hatha Yoga for Women, All Levels, Monday night - Yoga Flow for Women, Gentle Class. These nurturing classes reduce stress and release toxins while creating strength and flexibility; class themes class themes explored included yoga for PMS, depression, menopause etc.
Running classes:
Beginner Runner Kanata, Beginner Runner 5km and 10km and Half-Marathon Training
