As health and wellness inspired lifestyles continue to gain momentum, two of the most popular healthy activities today are running and yoga. Yoga for Runners is a series of half hour episodes for anyone interested in a healthy lifestyle – and for runners, both serious and recreational, looking to run faster and stronger.
Join host Donna Davis on location at the beautiful Hartwell Locks in Ottawa. Using Power Yoga, she guides viewers to maximize strength, concentration and flexibility and helps lengthen and rebalance tight muscles to prevent injury.

About the Host
An avid runner and sports enthusiast, Donna founded Movement to Health in 1999 based on her passion for healthy living and for inspiring others to embrace the many benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle. Movement to Health offers yoga, running and holistic nutrition courses.
Donna has been a runner for most of her life. One of her greatest passions is turning people on to the many physical and psychological benefits of running, and helping them set and achieve their fitness and life goals.
Donna holds a 200-hour certification in Hatha Yoga and has completed training in Ashtanga and Power Yoga, most recently with Beryl Bender-birch founder of Yoga for Runners in New York City. She has also trained as a Nationally Certified Group Fitness Trainer, Advanced Resist-A-Ball C.O.R.E. Instructor, is a Sports Nutrition Consultant, Lululemon Ambassador, New Balance Athlete and a former nominee for the Y-Women Of Distinction Awards for Active Living.
Over the years Donna has completed numerous races from 5km to marathons, her favorite race will always be the Big Sur Marathon in California.
The Demonstrators – Jeanette Steffler & Lindsay Firestone
Jeanette and Lindsay both run and practice yoga to stay fit, relieve stress and have energy to stay on top of their active lifestyles!
Jeanette is a marathon runner and running coach with Movement to Health. She most recently completed the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC.
Lindsay is a former dancer, and started running almost 10 years ago. Each day she fits in a sunrise Power Yoga Practice at our studio or an early morning run which keeps her strong, focused and injury free.
